Copyright literally means “the right to copy”.
It is the legal mechanism that allows artists, writers and composers to control their creations.

For Accurate Audio and its clients it means that all materials (Audio - Video - Data - Graphics) submitted for duplication must be original, or that all proper rights and licenses must be obtained before we can process an order.

Cover songs and unlicensed samples are two examples of material not owned by the duplicating client.

Whether we are duplicating a demo or a commercial release, you must be the owner of the materials or have written consent to use them. Obtaining written consent for song covers requires contacting the CMRRA, a rights organization specifically for brokering licenses and rights to other people’s music. Please be aware that the owner of the material can withhold permission, and that permission and licensing can take 6-8 weeks or more.  Permission and licenses can only be obtained with a letter from the manufacturer so see us first.
